Mega Frame

The Mega Frame is 5 times stronger than traditional 2" girder structures and is able to use either standard tent pins or heavy-duty bolts for long term installations. When you need a 40' or 50’ wide tent that can be set up quickly.

 

Introduction


The Mega Frame Tent provides an unobstructed interior of up to 50’ width and 200’ in length. Our aluminum rafters are specially designed using a keder sliding tubing that offers a truly expandable tenting system. The canopy slides through the track ensuring that the top is watertight. Seamless tensioning panels covering the top of the structure offers a completed finish to any event. Whether it’s a corporate event, gala, tradeshow or a large wedding, the Mega Frame Tent system is the perfect fit. Some key features of this spectacular tent product are:

  • A frame which is 3-5 times stronger than traditional 2" frames
  • The frame can use either tent pins or bolts for long term set ups
  • A Keeder channel in the rafter eliminates the need to lace the tops down
  • All frame fittings are made in house to assure quality control
  • The 18 to 22oz tent top is available with a standard valance or cantenary valance
  • Slide in keeder walls are available to complete this superior looking tent

Specifications


Fabric
All units are welded at Ideal’s Vancouver plant with premium materials from 18-22 oz per sq. yd. The vinyl laminate we use is flame retardant and treated to resist mildew and ultra-violet degradation. Covers are manufactured from a 2-piece start-up point to allow for expansion. The tops of the structure are shipped in individual storage bags for convenience.

Hardware
The Ideal Canopy Tent & Structure Heavy-Duty Extrusion for mega tube systems is matched with upper round posts that will fit over most standard connections. Bottom slots allow easy connection of brace bars and other components.
